I went to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette for a Bachelor of Fine Arts, graduating with honors in 2008. Once I had graduated college I started massage school at the Louisiana Institute of Massage Therapy which I graduated from in 2010. I have since completed over 50 hours of continued education in Advanced Myofascial Strategies and Myofascial Deep Tissue certifications with Magnus Eklund and Myoskeletal Alignment through Erik Dalton. I also have some training in Thai massage.
Starting in 2014 I began my private practice and as of 2016 I moved to my new location in the Oil Center in Lafayette.
I want to offer my community effective, affordable, and therapeutic massage and bodywork. I truly want people to receive massage because I know it has many benefits for the body. I do everything I can to provide consistent, efficient massage therapy for each and every client. I am constantly learning new techniques and striving to make each session even better than the last. I want my clients to walk out of my office feeling better every time!
Regular massage can do amazing things for people. Massage can make a significant impact on one's quality of life - helping an individual not only feel better, but function more efficiently as a bodily machine, with less discomfort, less tension, and hopefully less stress as well.
Why I do what I do:
I love what I do! Massage was something I've wanted to pursue since highschool and I've not regretted that decision at all. I love working hands on and that my job keeps me moving! That's one of the reasons I love art as well but I especially love being able to make a tangible difference for people. It makes me feel awesome to know that my clients leave feeling better.
A little bit about me:
I am a wife and mother first and foremost! I love my family and am happy that my job not only sends me home in a great mood but allows me the flexibility to set my own schedule. My hobbies generally include painting, playing PC games, crafting, going on walks with my dogs and children and just spending time with my family.
